Build a dream that’s worth the battle.
Can we talk for a sec about some of those super cliche quotes that everyone seems to know?
Reach for the stars, The sky is the limit, Do what makes you happy, and soooo many more.
Seriously, it is hard to deny that these quotes are crazy inspiring. Through simple, powerful messages, these quotes were able to make such an impact on so many hearts. This really just goes to show that positivity is 100% contagious.
Why would we not use that to our advantage!? It only takes one person to put their positivity out into the universe and it becomes infectious to those around them. Sure, you can say “they’re so positive, it’s annoying.” Why fight it? It’s like quicksand; the more you fight it, the more you will sink. You see that person as an unrealistically happy snob. Why? Frankly, it’s because you’re jealous. Come on, I mean that in the most loving and open hearted way.
It’s one of those things that once you know it, you can’t un-know it.
Now, what goes hand-in-hand with positivity? Ah, yes… motivation. No? Well, if they didn’t before, they do now. I’ve found that positivity and motivation radiate off of each other. When you have one, the other one will certainly follow suit shortly after. Back to the annoyingly-positive PITA over there. If I had to guess, I would say that this person is “annoying” because they are positive, motivated and successful. Emphasis on the successful.
I’ve never been good at math, but, here I go: Positivity + motivation = success
Uh, what? Heck yeah! Just let that sink in real quick. So, what I am saying is that you can accomplish nearly anything if you let yourself be engulfed by that positivity instead of pushing it away. Don’t deny yourself that in happiness and positivity comes GREAT things - but you have to allow it.
Just think, if positivity is contagious and positivity leads to motivation, and motivation develops into success… WOW. That is a whole lot of success in the air!
Okay- now I have not always been positive. Not in the least. Get this, I am NOT positive all of the time. I’ve been filled to the brim with the toxicity of negative vibes. I’ve been to an emotional rock bottom more times than I’d like to admit. I’ve doubted my very existence. Even very recently. But let me tell you right now; a little bit of positivity has completely changed my world. It’s been a difficult and painful ride, but I can honestly say that it is worth the battle.
I believe in myself. I know I can reach the stars. I will do what makes me happy. I will succeed.
No shame.
